Week 62 Duty of Man

October 15, 2019  Hello everybody. The ends of the earth (including myself) have now been able to view general conference and it was awesome! We are so blessed to have a living God who speaks to us through His living Prophet in His living church. As I listen to the revelation that he receives and then hands down to us, I receive my own personal revelation that President Russell M. Nelson truly is God's prophet here on the earth.   A friend of ours, his name is Andrew, is now on date for Baptism on the 26th of October! He has made some big changes in his life and has seen and felt the reality of the blessings of the gospel as he repents and more aligns his life with the path that the Savior has set. It is awesome to see God's hand at work in the lives of His Children! On Saturday there was a market down in Willunga that Elder Goodrich and I were able to set up a Family History stand. Elder Goodrich also showed me how to make animal balloons to entertain the kids while...

Week 61 Charity Never Faileth

October 8, 2019 This   week   was absolutely awesome! Elder Goodrich and I have seen so many miracles in our area as we have been focused on the work and simply doing all we can to bring the blessings of the restored gospel down upon God's childeren here in Hackham West.  While everybody else in the world was able to watch general conference last   week end, here in Australia we don't get it until this   week end! Our neighbor owns a cake store so he gave us a   $45  cake for free! So good! We met a lady who is an "Xbox grandma." She is an old lady who volunteers to play Xbox all day and the purpose behind it is to calm people down. When she is online and she hears somebody cursing up a storm, she will simply say "excuse me I have grandchildren who play this game and they don't need to hear that." 9/10 times they stop, and if they don't, she can kick them out of the game. Pretty cool. So if any of you are playing Xbox, wa...

Week 60 Called of God

October 2, 2019 Week   60 Dear fellows, family, and friends, wherever you may be, whatever you may be doing, whoever you may be with, whatever you may be eating, and why ever you may be doing anything; listen here for I have a message for you. Well my message is not so important, so there is no need to pay any particular heed to whatever I may say. But I will say this. There are people on this Earth who have seen and spoken with God, and they will be delivering God's message to us this   week end, so I would hope that you will heed that message.  This   week   has been particularly fun for Elder Goodrich and I. I'll just say a few things about him. He is such a positive Elder who has a down-to-earth attitude and a desire to get things done. He is always trying to find new ways to be more productive, which allows him and I to get along greatly! We work great together and have seen so many miracles in the past few   week s toge...

Week 59 The Gift of the Holy Ghost

September 24, 2019 Week   59 G'day my friends and family and anybody else that might happen to be reading this. There have been so many fantastic things happening this   week , but I'll only say a few of them: One big miracle that we saw this   week , which I do not remember if I mentioned last   week , actually yes, I did mention it. Remember the people out in their garden that we basically taught the restoration to last   week , but we didn't find their house or get the contact number? Well apparently he was best friends with a member of the ward in high school, and the member, his friend who is a Jehovah's Witness, their other friend a Muslim, and their other friend an Athiest would always hang out and discuss religion. Lots of fun.  Anyway, the member had a dream about his high school friend that we met the next day, pretty crazy aye? And thus Elder Goodrich and I set our hearts to finding this man, even though we had no idea w...

Week 58 The Power of Godliness

September 18, 2019 Week 58 While the days get shorter and colder for you Northerners, down here in Adelaide the days only get longer and hotter. I'm not sure how I will survive the heat of Adelaide. I already think that it is too hot, but it is "still spring" they say. What an awesome  week ! I may have failed to mention the best thing last  week ...in the past 2  week s we have had 5 Baptisms in the zone, a family that I began teaching 6 months ago, and a couple that we helped get married and Baptized. We are looking forward to going and doing Baptisms at the temple with them in the next few  week s. I had the blessing of participating in all five of the confirmations, and actually confirming 3 of them. I can testify that the ordinances that God requires us to make as members of His church are there only for the purpose of developing a stronger relationship with Him.  Power of Godliness  Doctrine and Covenants 84:20 " Therefore, ...
